The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a spiritual journey of faith to discover what it means to follow Jesus as a Catholic Christian. The RCIA welcomes those who are not baptized, those who are baptized Christians and wish to enter the Catholic Church and baptized Catholics who wish to complete their Sacraments of Initiation through First Eucharist and/or Confirmation. The Rites or “mileposts” along the journey help to continually discover God’s path and expectations for each person.
Those seeking Adult Confirmation will walk together with others in the RCIA who either desire to enter the Catholic Church from another Christian church or through Baptism. The Sacrament of Confirmation for adults is normally administered once a year during the Easter Season.
